Ramona Jane Clark, 79, died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at Pinebrook Care Center in Rigby.

She was born Sept. 8, 1930, in Antelope, Idaho, a daughter to Horace Robert McMurtrey and Cora Minilla Fox.

She attended Clark Elementary School and graduated from Rigby High School.

She married Charles Jesse Clark on April 29, 1950, in Ririe, Idaho. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as a visiting teacher and librarian. She enjoyed bowling on a bowling league for many years, working in her yard and raising a garden.

She is survived by her children, Patricia (Doyle) Wallace and Steven Clark, both of Ririe, Sheila Clark of Provo, Utah, Rodney (Lupe) Clark of Idaho Falls and Gary (Nan) Clark of Italy, Texas; siblings, Hazel (Larry) Jensen of Blackfoot, Jim (Leona) McMurtrey of St. Anthony and Verl (Bonnie) McMurtrey of Rigby; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Jesse Clark; five brothers; and a great-grandson, Cameron Crane Clark.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the Ririe LDS 2nd Ward, 285 Second West in Ririe, with Bishop Alan Young officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
