Rites will be conducted at the Normal Funeral Home in Hope at 11 o'clock, Wednesday morning for Frank Daniel Smith, 86-year-old retired Hensley Township farmer who died of a heart attack Sunday afternoon at 4:20 p.m.
Friends are invited to call at the Norman Mortuary at any time. Burial will take place in the Hope Cemetery. Mr. Smith, who had been in failing health for some time, was living at the home of a son, Minor Smith, in the Peoga Community. He was born September 9, 1860 and married Miss Eliza Jane Bruner in 1885.
Five children were born to the union, one of whom, Mrs. Alma Trotter, is deceased. Those living are Walter Smith, Tom Smith, and Mrs. Mary Hasieman, all of Shelbyville, and Minor Smith of Peoga. Six grandchildren also remain.
