Logan, Utah: Merrill H. Bryner, 62, of Logan passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2007 in Logan, Utah.

He was born on May 31, 1944 in Price, Utah, to Hardison and Mary Woolly Bryner. He received a Bachelor's Degree from Weber State University and a Master's Degree from BYU and was employed at the DOD Dependant Schools as a science teacher for 36 years.

He married Simone Larson and was they are the parents of two children, William of Highpoint, NC and Teresa of Senegal, Africa.

He served in the US Army. He has lived in Berlin, Germany, Kaiserslautern, Germany and Logan, Utah. He was a member of the Reserve Officer Association, the National Educator's Association and the Aircraft Owner's and Pilots Association.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hardison Bryner and his sister, Joyce Craven.

He is survived by his wife and two children, three brothers: Robert (Luzon) Bryner of Logan, Utah; Richard (Erica) Bryner of Ogden, Utah; Wayne (Susan) Bryner of Smithfield, Utah; and one sister: Charlene Davis of Logan, Utah.

Military graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 in the Logan City Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73123-1718 or at www.cancer.org.
