Pauline Loomis was the daughter of Alfred R. Loomis and Christina M. Sweet Loomis. She was married to Charles Arnott on 25 Nov 1932 . They were parents of six children; James A., Donald Leslie, Duane (Dewey), Gilbert Allen, Glen Michael and Charlene Rae (Schumacher). Pauline was an avid genealogist and enjoyed golfing in her later years.

Pauline L. Arnott, 91, of Boyne City, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at Grandvue Medical Care Facility in East Jordan.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23, at the Penzien Funeral Homes Inc., in East Jordan. The Rev. Phil Bowman will officiate. Interment will be in Eveline Township Cemetery.
Pauline was born on Jan. 11, 1916, in East Jordan, the daughter of Alfred "Ray" and Christina (Sweet) Loomis.
On Nov. 25, 1932, in East Jordan, she married Charles Arnott. He preceded her in death in 1982.
She worked as a nurse aide for 20 years at Grandvue Medical Care Facility. She retired in January of 1978.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in East Jordan, the Advance Board of Commerce and the Boyne City Farmers Market.
Pauline is survived by three sons, Don (Margaret) Arnott of Advance, Duane "Dewey" Arnott of East Jordan and Glen (Sue) Arnott of New Braunfels, Texas; one son-in-law, Larry Schumacher, of Kalkaska; two daughters-in-law, Vera Arnott of East Jordan and Dorthea Arnott of East Jordan; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Charlene Schumacher; two sons, James A. Arnott and Gilbert Allen Arnott; two grandsons, Edward "Teddy" Arnott and Derick Arnott; and one brother, Clare Loomis; three daughters-in-law, Helen M. Arnott, Maria Arnott and Helen Arnott.
The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at the funeral home in East Jordan.
Memorials may be given to Grandvue Medical Care Facility.
