After graduating from Holdrege High School in 1942, Rosemary worked at the Prisoner of War camp in Atlanta, Nebraska during World War II, and later attended Weslyan University in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Rosemary Jean was united in marriage to Richard H. "Dick" Waters on August 18, 1945, in Holdrege.
Rosemary Jean enjoyed activities with her family, her cats, her travels with friends in Arizona, and the pageantry of Nebraska football – especially the Cornhusker Marching Band.
Survivors are: Sons, Dick (Ginny) Waters and their children; Rich (Angie) Waters and Kristen Waters, Son, Steve (Kathy) Waters and children; David Waters and his son, Sef Waters, Bill Waters and Virginia Saporta and children; Emily and Andy Brown and great- grandson, Brenden Peters Daughter: Robin Waters and John McQueen and daughters; Mollie & Allie Edson Brother: Jim (Thelma) Anderson
Inurnment was in the Prairie Home Cemetery, Holdrege, NE.
