Morris (Marius) Anton Jorgensen 99, 8621 W. Buckskin, died early Sunday Morning September 1990. He was born 17 November 1890 in Baaring Fyn, Denmark to Rasmus and Maren Jensen Jorgensen. He attended school in Denmark. He came to America in 1907 and worked for Burlington Northern Railroad and also landscaped in Nebraska. He married Marie Behrendt in Ord, Nebr. and they had one son, Axel.
He moved to Idaho in 1938 where he continued his landscaping career and also farmed and worked in the lumber industry.
He married Hattie Elder on July 16, 1944 in Greeley, Colo.
He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of Pocatello, a daughter-in-law, Evelyn Jorgensen of San Marcus, Calif.; three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one great great grandson, all of Calif, numerous nieces and nephews in Denmark.
He was preceded in death by a son, Axel in 1979.
Funeral services were held Thurs at the Henderson Funeral Chapel, with Rev. J. Russell Houston officiating. Burial; will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
