Cumberland Times News - Obituary: LAVALE - Mary Grace (Mauzy) Reeves 75, of 398 National Highway, LaVale, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2001, at her residence. Born on Sept. 19, 1925, in Flintstone, she was the daughter of the late Saul P. Mauzy and Gertrude (Mallow) Mauzy. She was also proceeded in death by five brothers, William, Aubrey, Carl, Keith and Clarence Mauzy; and two sisters, Irene Mauzy and Ruth Maphis.
Mrs. Reeves was a homemaker and attended the Central Assembly of God Church. She is survived by her husband, Donald F. Reeves, LaVale; two sons, Gary F. Reeves, Silver Spring and David G. (Jody) Reeves and wife, Wendy, Eldersburg; two sisters, Retha Cosgrove, Jacksonville, Fla. and Madeline Boggess, Cumberland; five grandchildren, Robert P. Reeves, Jennifer M. Reeves, Heather Grace Reeves, Melissa Saville and Bryan F. Reeves; and one great-granddaughter, Morgan Grace Dickson.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Douglas Seaman and the Rev. Robert Hymes officiating. Interment will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Flintstone. Obituary provided by grand daughter, Melissa Saville.
