Funeral services for Jackson Baker, whose death occurred at the home of his sister, Mrs. Fred Meltzer, near Frankton, Ind., were held at two o'clock this afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. John Henry Kuhn, at Meltzervill, Liberty township, the Rev. Loren Tillison officiating, and burial was made in Blue Ridge cemetery in charge of Stewart & Fix.

The body was brought to the Kuhn home Monday. Mr. Baker was aged 84 years, three months and 26 days. Until nine years ago Mr. Baker's home had always been in the Meltzerville neighborhood. He was a successful school teacher for many years and later followed farming, being owner of a farm east of Meltzerville at the time of his death. He leaves another sister, Mrs. Orville Endsley, of Rush County. He had never married.
