Frances G. Kirby - age 77, of Sevierville, died Tuesday, April 15, 1997, at Royal Care Nursing Home. She was a charter member of Smithwood Baptist Church in Sevierville and was preceded in death by her daughters Gladys Clabo and Doris Dellinger; granddaughter, Carol Shultz and brother, Kyle Hall. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Bates E. and Jewell Kirby, D.J. and Sharon Kirby; granddaughters Robin Parrott and husband Chriss, Betsy Dellinger, Heather Butler; grandson, Richard Kirby and wife Rachel; great-grandchildren, Krystle Parrott and Johnathon Kirby. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Thursday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Ray Burkett officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Friday at Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens for interment with Rev. Ottis Williams officiating.
