HENRY BOOKOUT
FORDLAND -- Henry Bookout, 72, died at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Springfield General Osteopathic Hospital after a one-years illness.
A retired farmer, Mr. Bookout was a lifelong resident of Christian County. He also was a WW I veteran. He was a member of the Union Chapel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Rena, one son, Darrell, of Rogersville; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Hemmer, Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Izola Noble, Seneca Falls, N. Y. Mrs. Phyllis McMurry, Kansas City, Mrs. Vivian Chauvim, Kansas City; one brother, George Bookout, 701 East Loren; three sisters, Mrs. Martha White, Rolla, Mrs.Rosa Gass, Sparta, Mrs. Emma Galdwin, Kansas City; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be announced by Marsh of Fordland.
