Harriet Rebecca Hall was born to Richard and Prunella Hall near Hardinsburg, Kentucky March 17, 1864, and died at the Douglas County Hospital in Omaha June 13, 1944 at the age of 80 years, 2 months and 26 days.

Deceased spent her childhood in Kentucky, coming to Washington County, Nebraska in 1880. She was married to George W. Vorhies in 1882, living in Washington County most of the time until Mrs. Vorhies’ death in 1898.

In 1899 Mrs. Vorhies went to Arapahoe, Nebraska, where she was married to Lawrence M. Utterback on July 3, 1900. They came to Arlington, Nebraska in 1902 where they have since made their home until the last few years spent in Omaha.

Mrs. Utterback is survived by her husband, one son, Curtis, there grandchildren, six sisters, Mrs. Lydia Meador, Mrs. Sallie Meador, Mrs. Essie Randy of near Hardinburg, Kentucky; Mrs. D. Newel of Blair; Mrs. Melvin Springgate and Mrs. Jack Schapfer of Arlington. Also three brothers, Will, James and Henry of Arlington; one aunt, Mrs. Lillian Vorhies of Grand Island, Nebraska and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services were conducted by Elder G. J. Gordon of Omaha, Nebraska, assisted by the pastor, Rev. H. C. Van Valkenburgh at the Congregational Church in Arlington on Thursday, June 15. She was laid to rest in the Arlington cemetery.
