Death Of Mrs. Ringgold----She Was The Wife of Jas. T. Ringgold, Who Was Sent To Spring Grove Asylum
Mrs. James T. Ringgold died yesterday at her home, 1026 Cathedral Street, from the effects of a stroke of paralysis received about three months ago. She was thirty-seven years old and was married to Mr. James T. Ringgold, a well-known Baltimore lawyer about seventeen years ago. Her maiden name was Isabelle Egerton, she being a daughter of the late Charles Egerton.
Unusual sadness is connected with Mrs. Ringgold's death owing to the fact that her husband was on Wednesday sent to Spring Grove Asylum for treatment. It is said that his mind became impaired owing to the use of opiates, to which he had resorted for stimulation after his health had broken down from continual watching at his wife's bedside.
Mrs. Ringgold's funeral will probably take place tomorrow from Emmanuel Protestant Episcopal Church. The internment will be in Greenmount.
