Willah Beacham was the eleventh of sixteen children born to William Kindred Beacham (1854-1912) and his wife Manizor Elizabeth Carpenter. She married Francis Fulton Forde (1885-1962), and had eight children: Francis F. Forde, Jr. (1910-2001), Henry Lester Forde (1912-1967, m. Louise McRainey), Jack Dowling Forde (1914-2002), Mary Palmer Forde (1916-1984), Pompie Forde (1918-1996, Mrs. Scott), Norma Canaday Forde (was living in 2003), Elbert Forde (1921-1983), Billie Forde (26-27 May 1930)
