Lyman Paul DeWitt was the son of Lyman C. DeWitt and Ida E. Eggelston; b ca 1857 in New York and 1864 in Illinois, respectively. Brothers Charles (b ca 1890 in Nebraska) and Joseph (b ca 1895 in Nebraska).

Lyman and Ida were residing with her parents, Benjamin and Amanda Eggelston, in Ewing, Holt, Nebraska in 1910, in Chadron, Dawes, Nebraska in 1920, and in Omaha in 1930.

Marriage and Family

Lyman P. DeWitt; 22; and Emma Gardner; 26; were married in June of 1909 in Douglas county, Nebraska.

In 1920, L. Paul and Emma were residing in Arlington, Washington, Nebraska. By 1930, the family had relocated to Nickerson, Dodge, Nebraska.
