Visitation will be from noon-1 p.m. Saturday at Neal Funeral Home in Louisville. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Chuck Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Orchard Hill Cemetery in Louisville with full military rites.
Mr. Boose was born on November 18, 1919, in Bible Grove, Clay County, Illinois, the son of Lome and Gertrude (Fopay) Boose. He married Martha A. Cambron on October 20, 1945. She survives.
He was a chemical-electrical engineering technician assisting with research for the University of Illinois in Champaign for 27 years until his retirement. He was a member of Louisville American Legion, First Presbyterian Church in Champaign, 3rd Infantry Society, Outpost 17 of St. Louis, Anzio Beachhead Veterans of World War II, and former member of Flora Elks and Flora Masons.
Mr. Boose is survived by his wife, Martha A. Boose, of Olney; godson, Jeff and Alice Brownfield; brother, Raymond Boose, of Louisville; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; great-great-nieces and nephews; and one great-great-great-nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Lome and Gertrude (Fopay) Boose; two sons who went to be with their Lord in infancy; two daughters who went to be with their Lord in infancy; and sisters, Bonnie Thelma Boose and Beldoria Boose Leach.
