Howard Palmer Bohannon, 87, of Humphrey, Arkansas went to be with the Lord October, 6, 2009.

He was born April 1, 1922 in Bear Creek, Arkansas to Myrtle Boyd & Sallie Bell Horton Bohannon.

Howard was a farmer, a member of the Euclid Lodge #130 & he was of the Baptist faith. Howard was an avid outdoorsman who loved to deer hunt, trap & fish.

Howard was an Army veteran serving in WWII.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers & two sisters.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Stella Shirley Bohannon; one daughter; one grandchild; two great grandsons; one great-great grandson; four sisters: Hazel Taylor of Mantigo, California, Berlene Ragland of Marshall, Arkansas, Mae Webb of Burdette, Arkansas and Francis Bratton of Crowley's Ridge, Arkansas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Burial will be in Williams Cemetery in Alcorn.
