CROOKSVILLE - Mrs. Betty J. Strate, 64, of 230 Cemetery St., Crooksville, died at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Good Samaritan Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was a former employee of Crooksville China Co., and was a member of Crooksville Free Methodist Church.
Born Feb. 26, 1917, in Crooksville, Mrs. Strate was a daughter of Will and Mary Grove Kuhn.
Surviving are her husband, Paul "Ham" Strate; a step-daughter, Mrs. Van (Paula JoAnn) Van Fleet of Midwest City, Okla.; a sister, Jenny Roush of Crooksville and four step-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Goebel Funeral Home in Crooksville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Harold Gibbs officiating. Burial will be in Crooksville Cemetery.
