Mrs Edith L Cochrun-Bartlett, 70 died in a Topeka hospital on Saturday following a short illness. Funeral services were held in Havensville Saturday afternoon, with burial in the Havensville cemetery. Pall bearers were Fred Jontra, Wm. Flowers, Roy Tolin, Galen Eddy, Harley Davis, and Phil Matrcoux. Mrs. Bartlett was born May 2, 1877 in Bucks Grove. Until 1 year ago she lived in Havensville. She married Oct. 14th, 1926 to James Bartlett, and he preceded her in death 11 years ago. She was a member of the Havensville Methodist church and attended Lowman Methodist church in Topeka. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Amanda Hinsman of Topeka; three brothers, Edgar and Robert Cochrun of Topeka, and John Cochrun of Denver: 4 nephews and 7 nieces.
