"The Sabbath Recorder", Vol 28, No 20, p 79, May 9, 1872.
At Little Genesee, N. Y., April 27th, 1872, very suddenly, Joseph Boss, in the 59th year of his age. It was the Sabbath day. His family had gone to meeting, as usual, not supposing him to be more unwell than common. On their return they found him dead in his bed, he having lain down about the time of their leaving. He was an estimable and upright citizen, and a member of the Seventh-day Baptist church.
