Arthur Hartwell Vick, Sr, 58, was a well-known rancher of the Finis Community. He was in the pasture showing cattle and while riding suffered a heart attack dying instantly. Mr. Vick converted on July 11. He attended schools at Reynolds Academy in Albany and Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene.
Graveside services were officiated by Dr. Stewart Albert Newman of Fort Worth. Arthur Vick moved with his family to Shackelford County in 1892. In 1908, he moved to the Finis Community.
