Son of Shadrack Brammer and Frances Tuggle.

Callao.
We mentioned last week the sad case of Uncle Joe Brammer being paralyzed. Now we are deeply pained to record his death at 8 o'clock p. m. last Sunday at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Sarah Brammer. He was a pioneer of Macon, reared near here, and reared five children, two daughters and three sons. He was a consistent member of the C. P. church and his funeral occurred at 2 o'clock p. m. Monday, in the C. P. church. Elder Silas Sears, of Primitive Baptist church conducted the services assisted by Rev. James Morrow of the C. P. church. It was thought his pastor could not reach here in time for the services, is the reason Elder Sears, an old friend of the family, being requested to conduct the services. He was laid to rest in the old cemetery beside the wife of his youth who preceded him only a few years. Uncle Joe was well stricken in years and could count his friends by the hundreds. He leaves besides his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and relatives all over Macon county and the State. We tender the bereaved ones our heartfelt sympathy.
