Born in Atlanta, La., December 23, 1869 [sic 1870], Mrs. Bice was the former Etta Ovelia Sandifer. She was the widow of the late O. B. Bice, merchant and farmer of Winn Parish up until his death in 1928. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winnfield.
Surviving is one son, Roscoe Bice, of Winnfield; one stepson, H. P. Bice of Port Arthur, Texas; one sister, Miss Ada Sandifer of Winnfield, three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
