Second son of Burnett M. & Orpha Dorinda (Garrett) Easley. Married Mary Ann McGuire 22 Jan 1870 in Benton county, Arkansas. Came to Comanche county, Texas in 1871. Founder of Gartman View/Easley's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Father of 11 children: John M., Zora, Thomas, Orpha D., Dicie, Simon Peter, Deffa, Robert Burnett, Jr.,Phillip Jeff, William Paul & Luke Ellery Easley. Most descendants still live around the Comanche-DeLeon area.
