MRS. MINNIE MUDD FOUND DEAD IN HOME
Mrs. Minnie Maxwell Mudd, widow of Charles Mudd, was found dead in her home Midland township, Saturday morning at 11 o'clock, by neighbors who noticed that her milk had not been taken in from the porch.
Mrs. Mudd lived alone and it is presumed that she died sometime during the night of a heart attack.
She came from Canada, at the age of six years, with her parents who settled at Hope.
In 1924 she was married in Midland to Charles Mudd, who
died 10 years ago.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Bellinger, of Bay City, three sons, Charles McCrary, of Midland township, James McCrary, of Ann Arbor, and Joseph McCrary, of Hope, eight stepsons also survived, they are Wilbur, Clarence, Jesse, Claude, Irvin, Howard, Donald and Raymond, all of Midland County. Three brothers, Robert Maxwell, of Holly, William , of Gananoque, Canada, and John Maxwell, of Iron River, Wisc.,
12 grandchildren are among those surviving.
