Deborah Mason Bent widow of Herbert Carr Bent died unexpectedly Thursday in Olympia at the age of seventy. Born in Mancos Colorado March 31 1888 Mrs Bent came to Olympia from Creede Colorado twenty seven years ago. She married Herbert C Bent in 1904 He died here in 1948 Mrs Bent was a member of the Adventist Church and earlier in life was a member of the Eastern Star and the Womans Relief Carps the auxiliary of the GAR Surviving are three sons Ernest, Fortuna California, Ralph, Compton California and Herbert, San Diego four daughters Eva Learning Dorothy Robbins and Marlon Lloyd all of Olympia and Ann Flowers Hawthorne California three sisters Louella Dunkelberger and Ollie Robison both of Olympia and Marion Truesdel,l Las Vegas two stepbrothers Alfred Mason, Olympia and John Mason, Bremerton. twenty-six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The Olympian, Olympia, Washington Friday, November 21, 1958 Note: died at home Box 222 Route 10, outside city limits.
