She was born in Louisville in 1923, the daughter of Parla and Gertrude (Franklin) McCollum. She married James Flaugher October 20, 1951. He survives in Salado.
Mrs. Flaugher taught high school, worked for the Air Force during WW II, worked at the Director of Public Relations for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra; was an officer and editor of the newsletter for the Scottish Clan Malcalm/McCollum and was the link to their Chief in Scotland. She was a Protestant.
Survivors include her husband; a brother, Robert McCollum of Cransfill Gap, Texas, and four nephews.
Funeral services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were handled by Scanio Harper Funeral Home of Temple in Temple, TX.
