Mildred Cason Paulk, 81, died Sunday morning at the Satilla Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
A native of Clinch County she had lived in Waycross most of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blackshear.
She was a daughter of the late Elijah Lewis Cason and Annie Smith Cason Booth; also preceded in death by her first husband George William Corbett.
Survivors include two sisters, Esther Cason Duncan, Waycross, and Carolyn B. King, Homerville, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Miles-Odum Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family request memorial contributions be made to the Okefenokee Humane Society 1501 Blackwell St. Waycross, GA 31501.
