He was born May 6 1918 in Morgan County Illinois,a son of James Elmer and Louisa A.Toler Coe
He married Opal McNary in 1968 and she survives at 1743 Elania Drive Springfield Ohio. He is also suvived by a son Timothy of Springfield Ohio, a daughter KimberlyHourigan of Holiday,Fla two grandchildren :a brother Sam Coe and two sisters Beatrice Turner and Sarah Kay Preston all of Jacksonville.
He was preceded in death by a brothe Carl and a sister Jewel Johnson
He served in the U.S.Army during WWII and was retired fromthe Howard Saber Co. He was a member or the V.F.W.post 1081 Amvets and the Teamster Unio
Graveside rites will be held Oct 20 at Asbury Cemetery Springfield ohio with the Rev.Steven Williams officiating
