Services Monday for G. F. Moore
G. F. Moore, 82, 4120 Lee St., died Sunday.
He was born Dec. 4, 1882, Jack County, Tex., the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Moore.
Mr. Moore had lived in the Floyd Community prior to moving to Greenville. He was a retired farmer.
He was a member of the Floyd Methodist church.
He married the former Ethel Blakemore Feb., 1, 1905. She preceded him in death Oct. 4, 1947.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Coker-Mathews-Peters Funeral Chapel with the Rev. B. J. Bell and the Rev. C. B. Fielder officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.
Grandchildren and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Moore is survived by three sons, Ernest Moore of Commerce, Herman Moore of Grand Prairie and Herschel Moore of Greenville; a daughter, Mrs. Rogene Wallace of Greenville; two brothers, John Moore of Fort Worth and Charlie Moore of Kerrville; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
One son preceded Mr. Moore in death.
Pallbearers will be Buy Ray, Hick Beene, Elmer Isham, Hilly Brown, J. R. Mosley and Roy Holder.
