Martha Martin, a long time resident of the Toledo area, died Wednesday, July 11, in a Centralia nursing home at the age of 89.
Mrs. Martinwas born Feb. 5, 1895, in Harlan County, Ky., and belonged to the Seventh-Day Adventist Churh of Winlock. At the age of 12 she moved to the Toledo and Vader, area whe lived and also raised her family.
Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Fred two daughters (note s/b one daughter) Lucille and (note s/b one sister) Myrtle Prim; a son Fred Pete Martin and five brothers.
Survivors include two daughters, Doris Schoonover of Toledo, and Audrey Stonebreaker of Kelso, a son Lawrence Martin of Vancouver, Wash; grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Little Falls Cemetery, Vader, with Chaplin Dennis Hopkins officiating.
Grandsons, Skip, Randy, Larry Ray and Bob Martin, and Terry and Mike Schoonover (s/b Mike Stonebraker), will serve and pallbearers. David Martin will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fir Lawn Funeral Chapel of Toledo.
