Terry, John-Age 82, passed away November 5, 1982, at the Fentress County General Hospital. He was a member of the Fellowship United Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vernie Terry of Allardt; four sons, M.A. Terry of Dayton, Ohio; Junior H. Terry of Kingsport; Lillard Terry of Jamestown, Dave Terry of Jamestown; seven daughters: Ann Green of Williamsburg, Ohio, Jewell Chance of Severville[?], Jean Pullins of Jamestown, Virginia Jones of Cleveland, Willie Garrett of Allardt; June Sullivan, Morristown; Sue Parker of Jamestown; one brother: Rosco Terry of Jamestown; one sister: Stella Jones of Jamestown. Also 50 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, November 7, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mundy Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Leland Tompkins officiating. Interment in the Allardt Cemetery.
