She was born May 8, 1916, in Lorain and was a lifelong resident of the Lorain area.
She graduated from Lorain High School. Before she married she worked at Andrews Drug Store in South Lorain for 10 years.
Mrs. Olejko enjoyed gardening and family activites and was a member of St. Vitus Croatian Catholic Chruch, Lorain and the Croatian Faternal Union.
Survivors include her sons John Olejko of Gates Mills, Dr, Terry Olejko of Powell and Lee Olejko of San Jose, Calif.; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, John J. Olejko, in 2006; her parents John J. Berish in 1943 and Katherine Berish (nee Vukus) in 1980; sisters Mary Birus in 1918, Helen Beres in 1944, Bertha Mazur in 1988 and Ann Garkish in 2002, and brother, John Berish in 1983.
