Blaine H. "Bud" Provance, 72, of Springfield died Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at his home. He was born July 21, 1933, in Dunbar, Pa., the son of James G. and Florence Smitley Provance. He married Margaret Hull in 1990 in Springfield.
Mr. Provance was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He retired from the city of Springfield in 1997 after 26 years.
Survivors: wife, Margaret; four sons; daughter; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sadie England and Karrol Hauseknecht.
Services: Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel. Graveside services: Roselawn Memorial Park.
