Thomas T. Horton, 90, of Conway, formerly of Marshall, Arkansas, died Saturday, September 26, 2009, at Conway Regional Health System.

He was born February 15, 1919, in Harriett, Arkansas, a son of the late Pearlie O. and Bertha (Watt) Horton.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Marshall; and an Army veteran of World War II; and was awarded the Purple Heart. Mr. Horton attended Friendship Baptist Church in Conway.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Wenoka (Treat) Horton; children, Clara Nell Myatt and husband Daniel of Pearcy, Arkansas; Betty Horton McArthur and husband Foster of Richmond, Texas; Tommy and Donnie Horton both of Conway; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild; and one sister, Letha Clinging of Marshall.

Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Roller-McNutt and Coffman Funeral Homes.
