Wilhelm Wahrmund was also a Gillespie County judge in 1852-62, 1864, and 1876-1890. A home he built in Fredericksburg in 1875 still stands and is a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark.
He was married to Amalie Schildknecht (born abt 1824, died aft. 1880), with whom he had ten children. Amalie's exact date of death and burial location is unknown at this time.
