Mrs. J. H. Slover.

Mrs. Mollie Slover, wife of Jno. H. Slover, died last Saturday at 11 a.m., at the sanitarium at Temple, Texas, to which place she was taken the previous week for treatment. The surgeons started to operate upon her but did not finish the operation, saying she was so badly affected with cancer that they could render no assistance.

The body was brought here Sunday morning and the funeral was held at the Baptist church Sunday afternoon, the former pastor, Rev. E. T. Smith, conducting the service, assisted by the pastor Rev. J. J. Franklin. Interment was in Green Hill cemetery. The floral offerings were both numerous and beautiful.

Mrs. Slover was 34 years of age. She is survived by a husband and one child, Carrie, aged 12 and a brother, Henry Hennessee, who lives in this city; her parents, Mrs. And Mrs. Hennessee of Tribby, Okla., her half brothers, Ed Ramsey of Chandler and Nathan Ramsey of Tribby, and sisters Mrs. Walker of Cyril and Mrs. Minnie Gilbert of Tribby; all of whom were present at the funeral. Others present were Mrs. W. P. Slover and children of Mill Creek and Mr. And Mrs. Wilson and child of Lexington.

Mrs. Slover had lived in this community several years and had many friends who are grieved at her demise. She was a member of the Baptist church.

The relatives have the heartfelt sympathy of everyone in their sorrow over the death of their loved one.

Card of Thanks.

I wish to express my sincere thanks to all our friends who assisted in any way at the burial of my wife. Such acts of kindness help to lighten our sorrow.
John Slover.
