Lawrence Thompson 74, Of Mansfield, Ohio died Wednesday, march 29, 2006 at home after an extended Illness.
Lawrence was born June 17, 1931 in Morehead, ky to Claude and Goldie (Henderson) Thompson. He lived in Mansfield area most of his life. He was a veteran of the U.S Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Lawernce retired from Richland Products where he had worked as a machinist and a welder.
He is survived by his loving wife Patty Hunt Thompson, Whom he married December 19, 1959; three sons and 2 daughters, Charles Edward Thompson Michael and Theresa Thompson, and Robert Allen Thompson all of Mansfield; two daughters, Goldie Marlene Thompson (Earl) Tackett of Morehead Ky. Teresa Ann Thompson (Joshua) Oakley of Mansfield. Thirteen grandchildern 3 Great grandchildern; two brothers, Chester (Donna) Thompson of Dayton Ohio, and Raymond (Britta) Thompson of Braceville Ohio.; three sisters, Dolly (Mel) Wilson of Newton Falls Ohio, Mary Mason and companion, Jim Withrow of North Jackson Ohio and Marie (Bill) Ord of Lordstown Ohio.
He was Preceded in death by his parents; Claude Thompson Goldie Henderson Thompson and step-mother Norabelle Thompson; one son Phillip Lawrence Four brothers, one sister, Grandparents Ed and Mary Thompson and mother in law Edna Hunt.
He was married to Margie Harris Thompson. Had 2 Childern Phillip Lawrence Thompson and Goldie Marlene Thompson(Tackett).
Later Divorced, Remarried December 19, 1959 To Patty Sue Hunt . Togather they have 4 kids Charles Edward Thompson, Michael Lawrence Thompson, Robert Allen Thompson, and Teresa Ann Thompson ( Oakley ). Adopted, Granddaughter Jessica Lynn Thompson.
As of this time he now has 6 Great Grandchildern. (2010)
