Mrs. M. L. Weems Services Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Weems, 71, wife of M. L. Weems, 1228 West Twelfth and One-Half avenue avenue, who died in Memorial Hospital Thursday noon, were held Friday at 3:30 p.m., from Memorial Baptist church.
The rites were conducted by Rev. H. G. Starkey, pastor of the church. Burial was in Hamilton Cemetery.
Born December 25, 1882, in Arkansas, Mrs. Weems had resided in Corsicana since 1927.
Surviving are her husband of Corsicana; two sons, Aubrey Weems, Corsicana, and James Weems, Denver City; four daughters, Mrs. G. W. Wilson, Itasca; Mrs. M. L. Frost, League City; Mrs. Clarence Langford, Corsicana, and Mrs. Julia Neblett, Tyler; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
