WINNFIELD -- Private memorial services for Dollie S. Varnell were at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Southern with Dr. Calvin Phelps officiating.
Mrs. Varnell, 69, of Winnfield died last Tuesday in her residence.
She was a member of South Winnfield Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Winnfield. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Curtis Varnell of Winnfield; one son, Tommy Varnell of Winnfield; one daughter, Sherry Jordan of Eros; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Childrens's Home, Monroe, or to the American Cancer Society.
