Mrs. Mary Works Dies
After Long Illness
Mrs. Mary Works, aged 45 years, died last Friday at her home one mile south of Joy, after a lingering illness. She had been confined to her bed for two and a half years with a complication of diseases. Her husband, Sylvester Works, died in 1925.
Survivors are her two children, Earl and Bonnie; her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Clure; her grandmother, Mrs. Clay; four sisters, Mrs. Black, Mrs. Calger, Healdton; Mrs. J. E. Ketner, Mrs. Bird Sims; and two brothers, Joe and Jap Clure.
Mrs. Works had lived in that community about 30 years. Burial was in Green Hill cemetery at Davis, Saturday afternoon.
