Lewis Woodrow Hatfield, 92, passed away on December 23, 2004. He was born November 4, 1912, in Mapleton, Ut, the youngest son of Joseph and Sarah Lewis Hatfield. He married Raynor Park on August 7, 1935. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She passed away June 30, 2001, after 66 years together. He loved to farm, but his paying job was iron-worker at Ironton until it shut down and then retiring at age 65, from Geneva Steel. His hobbies were hunting and fishing. He took pride in all that he did. He and his wife belonged to the Dancing Friends Club and to a group that Vacationed in their motor homes and campers. He enjoyed attending church and the temple, going for car rides in the mountains, and watching his grandchildren play sports. He was preceded in death by his parents and all of his siblings. His brothers were Clarence, Douglas, George, Vern, Elmer, and Robert. His sisters were Stella Sabin, Mable Hiatt, and Bessie Hatfield. He was also preceded in death by a son David J. HAtfield. He is survived by his children Marjorie Davis, Joyce LeaMaster, Connie Child, Dennis Hatfield, Ron Hatfield, and Laurie Crandall. Funeral services were held Dec. 28, 2004 with interment in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Wheeler Mortuary.
