Wiginton--Mrs. Sarah Jane Wiginton, wife of Sanford Wiginton, at the residence of her father, Obed Calvert, near Stamping Ground, January 11th, 1870, in the 33rd year of her age.
Mrs. Wiginton was greatly afflicted for many years, but during all her suffering, she bore a submissive spirit and never was known to murmur or express impatience. She was a member of the Stamping Ground Baptist Church, and one of those members whose, lives bear beautiful testimony to their profession. Her experience, of divine truth was deep, and of such character as to develop in her daily walk a lovely type of piety. Behind her she has left a husband, two bright little boys, and an affectionate family to profit by her triumphant faith, and to mourn her early departure from this life. A.C.G.
