Mrs. W. C. Barrow, who states DOB as 1860 in Sumter County, GA, has a CSA widow's pension application on line in the GA Archives under Sumter County. She says she married W. C. Barrow in Sumter County on Jan 7, 1880 and gives as proof, a letter from her brother, J. A. Walker, who attended the wedding. She says he husband enlisted in Albany, Ga and served with Company D of the 29th GA Cav. under Col. Arthur Hood. He served until his unit surrendered in Waynesboro, GA. And W. C. Barrow died in Americus, Ga on July 27, 1913.
