A native of Winn Parish, she was born Sept. 5, 1896. She was a housewife and was a member of Boeuf River Baptist Church. She died on Feb. 6, 1987, following a lengthy illness.
Survivors include one son, James I. Wiggins, Cockeysville, Md.; and one daughter, Mary Cotton, Dallas, Texas; 25 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons served as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.
