Joyce L. Neuman, 80, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 4, 2016.
Joyce Leveta Allison was born on June 21, 1935 in Rule, Texas, one of thirteen children born to James Crawford and Ada Malinda (Hurt) Allison. Joyce attended school in Rule, Texas and furthered her education at West Texas State College in Canyon. She married Jerry Neuman on November 29, 1957 in Rule and they made their home in Stamford. Jerry and Joyce had celebrated 51 years of marriage when he passed away September 7, 2009. Joyce was the ultimate homemaker, evident in her talent of cooking and entertaining family and friends. In addition, Joyce also loved to paint. She was a member of the Pierian Club of Stamford, and the Stamford Hospital Auxillary “Pink Ladies” organization. Joyce was a faithful member of First Baptist Church.


Preceding Joyce in death were her parents; her husband; a daughter in law, Lisa Neuman ; three sisters and nine brothers.
