Mrs. Juanita M. Holt, 70, of Belleville, Mich., died Feb. 24, 1991 at Dearborn, Mich. Born May 6, 1920 in Hickman, Ky., she was the daughter of Thomas Ervin and Belie Louise Dabbs Mitchum. She was the widow of Harry Holt and was also preceded in death by a son, Jack, and a grandson, Vaughn Defibaugh. She was employed by S.S. Kresge Co. for 30 years and was a personnel director at the time of her retirement in 1977. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church in Lincoln Park, Mich.
She is survived by one son, Elbert Holt of Houston; One daughter, Mrs. Calista Defibaugh of Belleville; Two brothers, John Mitchum of Doniphan and Lloyd Mitchum of Troy, Tenn.; Three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Chambelain of Hillsdale, Mich., Mrs. Martha Carr of Vancouver, Wash., and Mrs. Christine Lee of Woodland, Calif.; And eight grandchildren.
Services were Feb. 27 at 11 a.m. at John W. German Funeral Home chapel in Hayti, the Rev. Miles Zeigler officiating, with burial in Little Prairie Cemtery.
Family members served as pallbearers.
