Kaylee was riding in a wagon with her 2 year old brother Oscar, pulled by her parents Alex and Yesenia Alvarez. The wagon was hit in a crosswalk by an SUV driven by a drunk man. The wagon and children were caught in the wheel well. The driver slowed after one block, allowing Oscar to fall out, but then continued for a mile to his own driveway, with the wagon & Kaylee still trapped. Oscar suffered burns and cuts, but recovered. Kaylee was dead at the scene.
