Edith Bowers, 68, of Waynesburg R. D. 2, died at 7:45 a.m. Sunday, July 22, 1984, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va., following a long illness.
She was born June 22, 1916, in Perry Township, a daughter of Lafe and Dorothy Kiger Fox.
She had resided in Whiteley Township most of her life and was a member of the Claughton Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Bowers had driven a school bus for the Central Greene School District for 20 years.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Bowers; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Marlene) Hunnell of Englewood, Ohio; a granddaughter, Charla Hunnell; and a foster sister, Mrs. John (Olive Kiger) VanDruff of Waynesburg.
