Mrs. Eliza Byne Wynne, 69 years old, died at 6:55 o'clock Thursday afternoon at a local hospital.

She was a native of Richmond, Texas.

Surviving are her husband, Charles E. Wynne; four children, Charles E. Wynne, Jr., Arthur L. Wynne, both of San Antonio; Mrs. H. M. Dichmann, now en route here from the Philippines and Mrs. H. S. Adams of Fort Same Houston; also a sister, Mrs. M. L. Waters of San Antonio.

Mrs. Wynne was the daughter of a Confederate Veteran [Enoch Byne] and took an active part in the work of the Daughters of the Confederacy.

The funeral will be held at 5 o'clock Friday afternoon from the residence, 141 North Street.

Mrs. E. O. Spencer, president of the Barnard E. Bee Chapter, Daughters of the Confederacy, requests the members of the chapter to attend the services.

Pallbearers selected are J. Hampton Sullivan, H. A. Loeffler, C. H. Wagner, R. W. Lay, H. A. Maucheux and D. J. Sullivan.

"Native of England Had Lived in San Antonio 39 Years"

Charles Edisbury Wynne, 83 years old, died at his residence, 110 Cloveland Court, yesterday afternoon. The man was a native of Liverpool, England, but has lived in San Antonio for 39 years.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. H. M. Dichmann and Mrs. H. S. Adams, two sons, Charles Wynne, Jr. and Arthur L. Wynne, all residents of the city and two sisters residing at Fort Thomas, Ky.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon in a local undertaking chapel with interment in the Confederate Cemetery, Rev. P. B. Hill will officiate.

Active pallbearers will be: C. H. Wagner, J. H. Sullivan, D. J. Sullivan, Jr., H. A. Loeffler, H. A. Merucheau, Dr. H. M. Hunter and Charles Dunbar.
