Mrs. Helen Wanta died Tuesday evening at 9:45 at St. Michael's hospital following an illness of more than a month.
The latet Mrs. Wanta was born in Polonia, WI, on April 19, 1894.
She was married in 1910 to Leo Wanta and the next year Mr. and Mrs. Wanta moved to this city, where they have since lived at 1021 Normal Avenue.
The deceased is survived by her husband and four children, Benjamin, Lorraine, Emil and Leona Wanta, all of whom live at the home on Normal Avenue. She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Stenka, Polonia; two brothers, Harry and Anton, both of Polonia, and seven sisters, Mrs. Frances Tuskowski, Mrs. Mary Bushman, the Misses Tillie, Regina, Stella, and Alvina Stenka, all of Polonia, and Mrs. Julia Gawinski of Bevent.
Funeral services were held Friday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Stanislaus' Catholic church, Rev. A. Malkowski officiated. Burial followed in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
